In a world dazzled by high-tech, Low-tech Magazine believes it is time for a countermovement. Low-tech Magazine is not against science and technology. But we refuse to assume that every problem has a scientific or technological solution. Our knowledge has become so sophisticated that these days the solution is often to be found in less science and less technology. A simple, sensible, but nevertheless controversial message: high-tech has become the idol of our society.
You guys are great. I'm a professional futurist, but I grew up at a farm store, so I love the balance between high tech and cow manure. You guys represent that brilliantly. Keep it up!
